The top model, will be the CLS63 AMG with the famous 6.3 liter V8 (525 hp / 640 Nm torque) which we already know from the E63 AMG. The AMG version is characterized by a four pipe exhaust system, a modified suspension, stronger an bigger brakes and finally some modifications at the body work of the CLS. The AMG version will not sold before 2011.
The new CLS gets, the 7G-Tronic – with start/stop-system – automatic transmission and the new V6 and V8 engines from the current E-Class. From the technical side shows the new CLS, the same various assistance systems, such as Attention Assist, Night vision system, Distronic Plus, BAS Plus, PreSafe, Speed limit and high-beam assistant and the Intelligent Light System (ILS), which we already know from the E-Class (W212).
